PURPOSE:To correct a mixing ratio and to enable the reuse of the filter particles removed from a photoreceptor after exposure of color images, by sticking said filter particles on a substrate, irradiating white light thereto, and measuring the transmitted or reflected light for each coloring component of the respective particles. CONSTITUTION:The filter particles removed and recovered from a photoreceptor after exposure of color images in a color electrophotographic system using filter particles are stuck in one layer on a substrate 2, and while the substrate 2 is turned, white light 7 is irradiated thereto. The outputs of photodetectors 3-5 are impressed to a CPU 14. The CPU 14 compares three kinds of data on calibration curves which are the contents stored in a storage circuit 1 with the above-mentioned outputs. The mixing ratios of the respective filter particles on the particle system on the substrate 2 are detected. As a result the degree of the filter particales required to be replenished in order to reuse the same is known. The CPU 14 controls the opening and closing of the opening/ closing covers 84-86 of replenishing devices 81-83, to replenish the filter particles for respective colors, whereby the filter particles are corrected to prescribed mixing ratios. |
