The invention relates to a foldable decorative body having decorative walls and folding channels for folding out from a flat transport position into a folded-open decorative position. The fundamental object is to provide such a decorative body which adopts the decorative position virtually without manual intervention and can be combined with other combination bodies. The object is achieved in that the folding channels are arranged in pairs, opposite each other, between two parallel decorative walls and have folding hinges arranged in a common plane lying parallel to and between the decorative walls, and a rubber cord is provided at least between one pair of mutually opposite, outward-folding erection/folding channels for automatically unfolding the body from the transport position into the decorative position and retaining the erection/folding channels in the decorative position against stops.
