PURPOSE:To provide a diazo type heat sensitive recording material good in sensitivity and showing sharp bluish color formation, obtained by using a coupling component comprising a specific naphthalene sulfonamide derivative along with a zinc stearate. CONSTITUTION:Zinc stearate is used in an amoung of pref. 0.2-2pts.wt. with respect to one pts.wt. coupling component comprising a naphthalene sulfonamide derivative shown by formula I (wherein R' is 1-18C alkyl) (e.g., a compound shown by formula II) and both components are applied to a support such as paper along with a diazo compound (e.g., a compound shown by formula III) to form a heat sensitive color forming layer to obtain an objective recording material. |
