A device, for supplying one or more services comprises a first arm (1), one end of which is secured to a bearing, and a second arm (2) one end of which is secured to the bearing. The arms (1, 2) are secured to the bearing by respective binding means (13) each of which is attached by fixing means (14) by screws to hold and secure the respective arm to the bearing. In contrast to known techniques using welding, this arrangement enables the construction of a device to be commenced before the exact length of the arms is known. The construction can be completed quickly once the arm length is known. The device can comprise an overhead swivel arm for an operating theatre through which electricity 15 and gas (16, Fig. 2 not shown) for example, are supplied. <IMAGE> |
