摘要

PURPOSE:To optimize exposure control at any time by correcting the difference between the quantity of exposure determined by an aperture and a shutter speed in flash mode and the proper quantity of exposure using only natural light through flash dimming. CONSTITUTION:When a shutter release switch S2 is turned on, a microcomputer 1 computes a proper aperture value in the used of only natural light by using data from a lens ROM 2 and subject brightness for flash light quantity control from a light measurement part 5 and also computes the difference between the aperture value in flash mode and the proper aperture value in the use of only natural light. Then, the quantity of flash light emission based upon the subject brightness for controlling the quantity of flash light is computed to make a correction by dimming a flash 6.
