PURPOSE:To simplify the attachment and detachment of a seat belt by attaching one end of the seat belt to the lower part of a car room, attaching the other end to a guide rail arranged at the upper part of the car room so as to obtain a free travel motion, and largely bending the rear end of rail in a hook form. CONSTITUTION:A guide rail 2 is provided on door sashes 3 and 3 or on the inner surface of a roof. The front tip of the guide rail 2 is slightly bent downward and the rear end is bent largely in a hook form. A seat belt hanging tool 6 engages with the guide rail 2 using a hanger wheel 4 so as to obtain a free rotary travel motion and the other end of the seat belt 1 is tightened to the hanging tool 6. In addition, a belt anchor section 7 at one end of the seat belt 1 is attached to the lower part in a car room, such as the side of a seat 5 on the opposite side. When the seat belt 1 is fit, the hanging tool 6 is positioned at the rear end of the guide rail 2. Since the rear end is formed in a hook form, however, the hanging tool 6 will not go backward toward the front even when a car crash occurs. |
