In a device for the reprocessing of broken-up asphalt material, a rotating mixing drum has a concentrically assigned central tube for receiving the flame of a burner. At the same time, an exhaust-gas chamber is formed at the end of the central tube and possesses an orifice towards the mixing-drum interior, so that the exhaust gases can escape by way of a filling orifice.
