PURPOSE:To enhance the liquid-leakage resistance of a sealed battery by restricting accuracies of the shapes and positions of parts to below specified values. CONSTITUTION:The parallelism error of the sectional plane of the rising part of a metallic case to the bottom surface, the straightness error in the circumference direction of the lowest end of the sleeve of a sealing lid 5, and the thickness deviation of a part of a gasket 10 touching the lowest end of the sealing lid 5 are restricted to below specified values. For instance, the parallelism error of the sectional plane of the rising part of the metallic case to the bottom surface is adjusted to below 40mum, the straightness error in the circumference direction of the lowest end of the sleeve of the sealing lid 5 is adjusted to below 30mum, and the thickness deviation of the part of the gasket touching the lowest end of the sealing lid 5 is adjusted to below 40mum. |
