Area to be protected may be covered by medical gauze etc. which may be integral with the plaster. The external surface of the plaster is coloured to match the skin colour of a main division of the human race, e.g. melanochroid, xanthochroid. - The colour of the plaster may also be selected to match deeply bronzed sunburn.
