PURPOSE:To provide a heat exchanger element improving a reliability against a leakage of thermal medium and having less number of component elements by a method wherein an end part of surface sheet reinforced with fiber is extended and the end part is piled and molten to seal itself. CONSTITUTION:Both ends 17 and 17' of surface sheets 4 and 4' of heat exchanger elements are extended out of the edges 18 and 18' of the inner sheets 5 and 5' made of fabric etc. Their extremity ends are thermal molten under their laminated condition. At the part where the inner sheets 5 and 5' and the surface sheets 4 and 4' are laminated to form the connected parts 19 and 19' and the extremity ends 17 and 17' of the surface sheets 14 and 14', a reinforced fiber 20 is mixed with the surface sheets 4 and 4' to prevent the element from being deformed or decayed by pressure of thermal medium flowing therein. As the reinfocing fiber, polyamid, polyester, polypropylene, polychloride vinylidene and carbon fiber etc. are applied. |
