PURPOSE:To compensate for the reduction of steam pressure supplied to a turbine for driving a feed pump for a very short time by providing a pressure regulating valve and an ON-OFF valve in a steam supply pipe path from an auxiliary steam header to said turbine. CONSTITUTION:The other end side of a bleeder pipe 13 connected to the on-the- way stage of a main steam turbine 12 is connected through steam regulating valves 16a, 16b to turbines 15a, 15b for respectively driving feed pumps 14a, 14b connected in parallel to each other. Also, the downstream side of a check valve 17 in the bleeder pipe 13 is connected to an auxiliary steam header 18 through an auxiliary steam supply pipe 19 in which are interposed a pressure regulating valve 20 and an ON-OFF valve 21. And both valves 20, 21 are controlled by a control unit 23 according to the output of a pressure detector 22 provided at the upstream side of the steam regulating valve in the bleeder pipe 13 such that the ON-OFF valve 21 is opened when said output is less than a first set value and the pressure regulating valve 20 is regulated when said output is less than a second set value which is further less than the first one. |
