PURPOSE:To use effectively communication equipment, by changing the sampling speed of the A/D conversion with a control signal, attaining communication with the standard band splitting a sound signal into plural number, making the communication possible at a narrower band than the standard band and improving the flexibility of the sound communication system. CONSTITUTION:The audio signal inputted from a telephone set 1 is changed into a prescribed band width at a band switching device 11 in the inside and applied to a line unit of an opposite party via an exchange 6 on transmission lines 4, 5 with a line unit 2 or 3. A switching section 113 is switched with a switching command signal T from a line connector 112 of the switching device 11, the A/D conversion of ADMCODEC 111 is taken as three kinds of sampling speeds for performing the A/D conversion in any sampling speed. Further, the audio signal is communicated at the standard band split into a plural number and also made possible at a band narrower than the standard band, allowing to use effectively the communication equipment. |
