The radar system consists of an insulating support plate 10. One face of this plate carries an oscillator in the form of a printed circuit, consisting for example of oscillating circuits connected in the collector and the base of a transistor. The other face of the support plate 10 is covered by a metallic film 16 in the form of a printed circuit with a cut-out 18. At the centre of the cut-out is a metal tongue 20 in the form of a printed circuit coupled capacitively to the oscillating circuit 14 connected in the collector. An exciter is soldered to the said tongue. <IMAGE>
