PURPOSE:To prevent a spring pin from coming out of insertion hole by a structure wherein a bottomed bushing is provided at least at one end of the spring pin and a wedge is pressed into said end of the spring pin in order to fix the bottomed bushing. CONSTITUTION:In use for pivotally supporting the pivotal supports 4 of one end of the toilet seat and the pivotal supports 6 of one end of the toilet lid of a water closet, for example, between a pair of fixing members 2, the bottomed metal bushings 11 and metal bushings with both ends open 12 and 13 are fitted respectively in the insertion holes 8-10 of hinged joints of the fixing members 2 and of the respective pivotal supports 4 and 6. After that, the spring pins with a wavy slit 7b are inserted in the bushings 11-13. In this case, the wedge 14, which has a form of circular truncated cone and is made of soft metal, is pressed in the inside on one end 7a inserted in the bushing 11 of each said pin 7. The fixation of the bushing 11 is made sure by the diametrical expansion of the end of the pin developed by the pressing-in of the wedge 14. |
