OPTICAL FIBER SPEED/DISPLACEMENT METER

PURPOSE:To make an optical fiber speed/displacement meter compact and lighter by intergrating an optical fiber laser guide for irradiating an object to be measured with a laser beam and an optical fiber train light receiver. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam emitted from a cell foc microlens 16 mounted at an emission end of an optical fiber laser guide 15 enters an object to be measured vertically. A speckle pattern generated due to the reflection from the object being measured enters an optical fiber train light receiver 18. The optical output is converted to electricity and the frequency of the output signal is measured with a frequency measuring device 20 to determine the shifting velocity of the speckle pattern.
