<p>PURPOSE:To save the trouble of for switching a light emitting part during the attachment of an external light emitting device, by providing a responsively operating switch means which disconnecting electrically a light emitting circuit from the incorporated light emitting part of an electronic flash device by the connection of the external light emitting device to an external connection part. CONSTITUTION:When the external light emitting device 14 is connected to the external connection part 10, connection terminals A', B', and C' are connected to connection terminals A'', B'', and C'' and also contact the contacts a'', b'', and c'' of the contactors (a), (b), and (c) of a responsively operating switch 11 and at the same time to connect the light emitting circuit 9 to the external light emitting device 14 while disconnecting the internal light emitting part 12. When the external light emitting device 14 is detached, the connection terminals A', B', and C' and A'', B'', and C'' are disconnected from each other and the contactors (a), (b), and (c) of the responsively operating switch 11 are inverted at the same time to contact the contacts a', b', and c', connecting the light emitting circuit 9 to the incorporated light emitting part 12. Thus, the trouble of switching is saved and switching misoperation is eliminated.</p> |
