PURPOSE:To prevent a joint part from becoming brittle and cracking, by forming a thin layer of tin at the joint part previously when jointing copper products with a phosphor copper brazing metal. CONSTITUTION:When copper or coppr alloy products in plate and tube shapes, etc., are jointed together with a phosphor copper brazing metal, the thin layer of tin is formed previously at the joint part. The formation of the thin tin layer employs electric plating, plating by dipping, flame spraying, etc., and the thickness is <= about 10mum. |
