A feed device for spreaders, especially for mineral fertilisers, possesses a funnel-shaped shaft for feeding the spreading agent and a conveyor for discharging the spreading agent from the shaft on the shaft underside. The shaft outlet has cross-sections which are constant at least transversely to the longitudinal direction of the conveyor or which increase towards the conveyor. This is preferably achieved in that the side walls of the shaft outlet are designed to extend obliquely downwards and outwards. <IMAGE>
