MAGNETIC TAPE MUSIC SELECTOR

PURPOSE:To secure coincidence between a set number for music selection and an actual music number during the random access research, by adding a pseudo non-signal part at the front of a reproduced signal from the 1st music of a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The oscillating frequency of an oscillating circuit 4 is selected within the audio frequencies, and the oscillating time is set shorter than the traveling time of a leader tape containing no magnetic powder applied. Therefore a mixer 5 synthesizes the output of the circuit 4 and the music signal delivered from a reproduction equalizer amplifier 2. This output waveform is turned into an oscillating output 12 of the oscillator 4, a reproduced output 13 given from a magnetic head 1 and a non-signal part 14 respectively. In such a way, a non-signal part is produced at the front of the music signal of the 1st music. Thus it is possible to perform program searching for music corresponding to the music numbers starting at 1 successively in order of recording on the magnetic tape.
