<p>PURPOSE:To attain large capacity of TV display highly reliably by sealing liquid crystal into the gap between a base plate on which plural data lines and gate lines are arranged like a matrix and a driving circuit such as an MOS transistor (TR) at the intersecting points of these lines and a transparent plate. CONSTITUTION:The clocks of the driving circuit are composed of two phases of phi1 and phi2, and when a start pulse SP in inputted, ''1'' potential is successively transferred synchronously with clocks. The outputs D1-Dm of respective shift registers are inputted to the gate lines to select these gate lines successively. Input transfer gate TRs 7 are used for shift register inputs these inputs are temporally stored in T1-TN, ''1'' is written in the outputs D1-Dm by a bootstrap capacity, and then T3 is connected to a TR10 to discharge to ''0''. Since the shift registers are disabled by slight leakage, a potential fixing TRs 9 are added to the shift registers and the shift registers are refleshed to ''0'' every a half period to stabilize the operation and improve the yield.</p> |
