PURPOSE:To use also a master model only with one side, by selectably changing the moving direction of a contact arm and cutting arm in the same direction or in the reverse direction in a three-dimensional cutting machine for preparing a foaming resin model of a casting mold. CONSTITUTION:A contact arm 40 and a cutting arm 50 are horizontally and slidably arranged to a head main unit 30, while the arm 40 having a contactor contacted with a surface of a master model and the arm 50 having a cutter performing corresponding motion to the contactor are movably selected in the same direction or in the reverse direction by a selector mechanism 60. The both arms 40, 50 are moved by a driving handle 62, and a rack 45 of the arm 40 is directly connected to a gear 63 of a shaft 61 of the handle 62, then rack 57 of the arm 50 is directly meshed with a gear 65 in the same direction driving position of a selector handle 67, disengaged from the gear 65 in the neutral position with the both arms in a relatively adjustable position and meshed through an idler gear 69 with said gear 65 in the reverse direction driving position. In this way, in case of laterally or vertically symmetrical master model, a whole unit of model can be prepared by a master model only with one side. |
