PURPOSE:To carry out annealing work economically in high efficiency, in annealing a strip in a continuous annealing furnace, by controlling the supply speed of the strip and the temp. of the annealing furnace in relation to each other. CONSTITUTION:In annealing a strip S after cold rolling in a continuous annealing furnace 1 consisting of a heating chamber 1a, a holding chamber 1b, a primary cooling chamber 1c, an over ageing chamber 1d, a secondary cooling chamber 1e and a third cooling chamber 1f, a treating amount is made max. under a condition satisfying predetermined heat treating way imparted to the strip and a condition rapidly lowering a furnace temp. is obtained as a solution by using the supply speed of the strip S and the furnace temp. set value of the annealing furnace as variables while this solution is used as a set value to control the heating condition of the strip S and annealing is carried under an optimum condition considering the supply speed of the strip S along with the furnace temp. to make it possible to carry out the continuous annealing of the strip excellent in controllability and productivity. |
