<p>PURPOSE:To easily cut an external layer constituting aluninum strand by rotating a cutter-holding member and cutter-driving ring around the shaft center of a transmission line held through a gripping member and by advancing the cutter to the center of the transmission line through the relative rotation between the holding member and driving ring. CONSTITUTION:The boss 3a of an annular cutter-holding member 3 is rotatably fitted via a bearing to the inside a bearing ring 2 with axis directed horizontally. The holding member 3 and cutter-driving ring 11 are rotated by unshown motor via chain sprocket 3b of the outer peripheral part of the holding member 3 and a chain 4. An electric wire W is inserted through the gripping member 15 and held from above under, and the edge 6 of a roller-cutter 5 is brought into contact with the wire. The holding member 3 causes the roller-cutter 5 to rotate in one direction around the wire W and the driving ring 11 rotates slightly after in the same direction. By the relative rotation between the holding member and driving ring, the roller-cutter 5 is pressed by a cam 11c to cut an aluminum strand A toward the center of the wire W. Thus, the aluminum strand is cut accurately and efficiently.</p> |
