PURPOSE:To prevent oil drops and lowering of suction efficiency by a structure wherein a filter formed by perforated plates, a large number of holes worked by punching, is installed on the under surface of a hood so as to cover the suction port of the hood and at the same time to slope down toward the lowest part, at which an oil catcher is provided. CONSTITUTION:The oil content containd in the smoke or the like sucked into a hood 1 through a suction port 3 by a blower 7 is removed by adhering to the hole parts 14 and 13 during passing through the holes 14 and 13 of the filter plates 16 and 15 formed by the perforated plates and flows down on the front and rear surface parts of the filter plates 15 and 16 toward the lowest parts 17 and 18 by guiding the smoue along the slope of said front and rear surface parts to fall down and store in the oil catcher 19. 25% or more of the opening ratio is employed as for the hole parts 13 and 14 and at the same time 0.4mm. or more is employed as for the edge-to-edge hole spacing (l). Furthermore, good result is obtained as for the suction efficiency and the prevention of direct falling down of oil drops by realizing the state that the diameter of the hole part is made smaller the lower the hole part is located and at the same time the part in the vicinity around the lowest part is made nearly holeless. |
