PURPOSE:To relax concentration of local stress, by arranging a bumper stay and tie down hook in a condition they can interfere with each other and providing an engagement part, whereby external force when acting on one side is partially transmitted to the other, between the both stay and hook. CONSTITUTION:A bumper stay 3 and a tie down hook 6 are mounted to a front side member 2 under an approximated condition in which the stay and the hook can interfere with each other. Then a groove 10, that is, an engagement part is formed to an upper end part of the hook 6, and a base end part side wall 3a of the stay 3 forming a section to a squared shape with one end open is engaged to said groove 10. Accordingly, if large external force F is applied to the stay 3, the external force F is partly transmitted to the hook 6 by deformation of a mounting part of the stay 3. Then the force F is dispersed to the mounting parts of the stay 3 and the hook 6 and transmitted to the front side member 2. In consequence, concentration of stress can be relaxed by said both mounting parts. |
