PURPOSE:To measure the impact strength at the top part of a tumbler effectively, by making the lower end of a rocking rod abutted to a cam surface of a cam fitted to a revolving shaft and at the same time by fitting a mounting table of an object to be tested onto its upper part. CONSTITUTION:A cam 7 is fixed removably to a shaft 5 through a clamping screw 8, and a rocking rod 11 loosely engaged in a guide sleeve 10 is disposed right above the plate cam 7. The lower end of the rod 11 is made to abut to the cam surface of the above mentioned cam 7. A mounting table 14 of a glassware G which is an object to be tested is fitted onto the upper end of the handle 11 and at the same time a transparent cylinder 15 is disposed around the table 14 so as to be supported by a support 16. By such a constitution, the impact strength at the top part of a tumbler is measured effectively. |
