PURPOSE:To eliminate such trouble that the whole copy image is not formed on a form by selecting a form of necessary size automatically at every time when taking a copy of magnification specified by taking a variable power copy plural times. CONSTITUTION:When specified copy magnification is not within a set range, necessary division copy magnification M, a copy frequency X, and final copy magnification Z are found. Then, the length C of a copy image obtained by copying operation is found from the magnification M and the length S of an original mounted on an original platen 10, and a copying form of the minimum necessary size is set and displayed; and copy image line length C is used as the original length S of the next copying process and the copying process is repeated with the division copy magnification Z. The copy image length C obtained by the copying is found from the final copy magnification Z and original length S, minimum necessary form size is set, and a lens 13 is moved to a position corresponding to the copy magnification Z. Then a developing tank 35 is selected and when an original to be copied is wound around an original cylinder 1, the copying operation is started. |
