PURPOSE:To enable grasping of an opening condition of a main valve at a glance, by a method wherein, in a gas oven provided with a digital electric clock, at least one to one of the display elements of the clock is caused to alternately flicker when the main valve is opened. CONSTITUTION:When a main valve 7 is closed, a switch 12 is brought to an OFF-state, and display elements 5 on a display part 2 of a digital electric clock display a time with figures 5a, a colon 5b, and an AM (or PM) 5c all switched ON. Thereafter, with the main valve 7 opened by a control body 15, the switch 12 is turned ON, the AM and the PM 5c, being the display element 5, are caused to alternately flicker through the working of a display control circuit 13 to display that the main valve 7 is opened. With a button 4 depressed under this condition, an electromagnetic valve 8 is opened through the working of an ignition control circuit 14 and a driving coil 11, and the gas flows to a gas burner 9 for firing. |
