A further embodiment of the clamping and connection device disclosed in Patent Application P 3127797.7 which consists in that a clamping shoe and a connection strip, which contains the necessary connections and joins to the temperature-control system and to a source of the temperature-control medium, form a unit. The clamping shoe is attached to the connecting strip, which carries the aforementioned connections, in such a way as to be pivotable about an axis parallel to the contact surface of the said connecting strip on the platen, and the entire unit is guided in such a way as to be displaceable in its longitudinal direction by a bridge attached to the adapter platen. A clamping bolt, which is screwed into the platen, passes through a respective elongated hole running in the longitudinal direction of the clamping shoe and the connecting strip, at the end thereof which faces the injection mould. <IMAGE>
