PURPOSE:To provide the antimicrobial treatment and antimicrobial treating jig for tile joints for preventing the contamination, discoloration, etc., of the tile joint parts which occur due to the growth of bacteria, yeasts, or fungi. CONSTITUTION:This antimicrobial treating means consists of a coating material tank 2A which contains an antimicrobial coating material having an antimicrobial property to the bacteria, yeasts, or fungi and having the viscosity within a 300 to 3000 poise range and consists of a deformable or foldable blank material having a shape to permit clamping with one hand and having an inside volume to permit a coating operation and has an aperture on one side end thereof and a cap part 2B which is freely attachable and detachable to and from the aperture of this coating material tank. A pressurizing taper 22b is formed on the inner side of this cap part toward a coating roll 2C arranging slit formed in the central part of the cap part from the bottom end of the cap part. In addition, the coating roll, the outer peripheral part of which consists of an elastic material and, the outside surface of which is roughened, is journaled within this coating roll arranging slit in such a manner that the part corresponding to its half arc projects to the outer side of the cap part and that the roll is rotatable. The coating roll is moved rotating along the tile joint lines by the antimicrobial treating means constituted in such a manner to coat the tile joints with the coating material. |
