PURPOSE:To recover energy efficiently in the stage of supplying hot wind from a blower to a blast furnace through a hot stove by introducing the hot wind corresponding to the difference between the flow rate suppliable from the blower and the flow rate of the hot wind required for the blast furnace into a turbine generator in accordance with the change in the flow rate of the hot wind required for the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION:A control device COM1 is introduced therein with the signal Q2 of the detected flow rate value of hot wind from a flowmeter S2 provided on the downstream side in the juncture of a main pipe 5 for hot wind with a branch pipe 11, the signal Q1 of the detected flow rate value of blast from a flowmeter S1 provided to a blast main pipe 2 of a blower 1, and the signal Qa of the set supply rate of hot blast to a blast furnace 9, and calculates the differential flow rate DELTAQ1 of hot wind between the Q2 and the Qa. Said control device controls initially the opening of the flow rate control valve 11a of the pipe 11 in accordance with the DELTAQ1 and performs successively the correction of the DELTAQ1 with the deviation DELTAQ2 between the actually measured value of the Q2 and the set value of the Qa to distribute the hot wind from the pipe 5 to the branch 11 and to introduce the same into a turbine generator 12 so that electric power is generated. |
