PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently absorb hydrogen into an oxy acid soln. in such a manner that the hydrogen can be released by isolating the oxy acid soln. which can be reduced and hydrogen-contg. gas with a gas-liquid separating membrane which can allow permeation of proton and dissociating the hydrogen to proton. CONSTITUTION:A switch SW is connected to ab and the hydrogen-contg. gas is introduced from a gas introducing hole 3 into the 2nd vessel 4, where the gaseous hydrogen is dissociated to the proton in an electrode 6a part on the gas-liquid permeable membrane 5 which allows the permeation of the proton. The proton is introduced through the membrane 5 into the 1st vessel 2. On the other hand, the released electrons reduce the oxy acid in the oxy acid soln. 7 of the 1st vessel 2 and form the complex of the oxy acid and proton. The hydrogen in the gas introduced into the 2nd vessel 4 is thus absorbed into the soln. 7. When the switch SW is connected to ac, the complex in the soln. 7 oxidizes to dissociate the proton. The proton passes the members 5 and is released in the form of the gaseous hydrogen in the electrode 6a part. The absorption and release of the hydrogen are thus efficiently executed by the simple operation. |
