PURPOSE:To improve wear resistance and thermal conductivity while preventing an offset of a positive or negative electrified toner image, by adding 9-25wt% carbon fiber to fluororesin forming the offset preventing layer of a heat roll, and to improve wear resistance and thermal conductivity by adding 30wt% carbon fluoride in terms of the sum of the carbon fluoride and carbon fiber. CONSTITUTION:A heat roll fixation device consists of a heat roll 1 and a press- contacting roll 6 and the heat roll 1 is formed by forming a primer layer 3 over the surface of a metallic roll 2 as a conductive core material, laminating the offset preventing layer 4 of fluororesin containing carbon fiber and carbon fluoride by <30wt% in total, and providing a heater 5 in the metallic roll 2. This heat roll 1 is rotated by a motor. The press-contacting roll 6 is manufacture by forming an insulating layer 8 on the surface of its metallic roller 7 and brought into press contact with the heat roll 1. The heat roll 1 is heated by the heater 5 when the fixation device is in operation and its temperature is set to 140-210 deg.C according to the kind of in-use toner. |
