The present invention concerns a brush cutting device for mounting on the hydraulic arm of a tractor excavator. The brush cutting device contains a frame 1 configured with a connection 3 corresponding to the hydraulic arm's connection and with a motor mounted on the frame 1, preferably a hydraulic motor for driving of elements 4 for clearing of brushwood and designed to be driven by the hydraulic system of the excavator. The invention is characterised in that said clearing elements 4 contain an elongated clearing blade 5 which is mounted in a retainer element 6, secured in the frame 1 and supporting the blade 5 on either side, so that when driven by the motor via a cam it can perform a reciprocating motion in its lengthwise direction. Along two opposite long sides the blade 5 is provided with equilateral triangular cutting plates 7 outfitted with edges 8 along their equal sides and arranged next to each other with uniform separation and with the nonedge side parallel to said long sides. The retaining element 6 is configured with protuberances 9 arranged with the same separation as the cutting plates 7 and outfitted with slots 10 through which the plates 7 run during the reciprocating motion. <IMAGE> |
