摘要 In order to improve the detection of local temperature increases in the physiological tissue or temperature differences with respect to the neighbouring tissue, or to a selected tissue reference region, such as occur in the case of breast cancer, use is made of a matrix-shaped arrangement of high-resolution metal/semiconductor calorimetric counting gates (detectors) each having a thermal capacity and thermal conductivity defined by design. When the measuring head is applied, an equalisation process based on the interaction between the physiological tissue and measuring head is set in train and generates a directed thermal flux from the tissue to the measuring head. The individual detectors with integrated temperature sensors quantify the thermal flux density and relay these measured values via a downstream electronic system to a measured data processing system for the purpose of storage and evaluation. Because of the heat dissipation produced by the measuring head, it is possible for heat components of tissue layers situated further inside to be more effectively detected and measured.
