<p>The hydraulic transmitter uses single acting actuators. In the frame is an endless screw, driven by a reversible motor, operated by a threaded rod. Pivoted arms are driven by rods and valved pistons in the cylinders. The cylinders are fed by reservoirs and pressure is delivered in receivers of the piston type actuators. The actuator return speed is controlled by the transmitter when it returns to its position of rest. The geometry gives slow movement at the beginning and end of a cycle.</p> |
