The nestable plastics container, such as may be used in a bakery, has a bottom (20) and opposite pairs of integral sides (22,24) and end walls (26,28). The internal profiles of these walls (26,28) are different, i.e. anti-symmetric, such that in one relative position, a similar container can be fully nested therein, and, in a 180 deg. rotated position, it is nestable therein to an intermediate level. Swivel rails (78) at the upper ends of the walls can be moved inwards in which position a similar container is stackable thereon at an upper level.
