A method and a device for removing the moist pressed part from the pressing mould situated on a rotating press drum of a roof tile revolving press are provided, the pressed part, after the pressing process, being held firmly in the pressing mould pneumatically by means of at least one suction line which can be connected to a vacuum source until the pressing mould passes into a downwardly inclined or directed removal position, in which the vacuum source is then switched off and the pressed part is lifted by compressed air supplied and set down on a small drying frame, and the suction line opening in a cavity situated between drum casing and pressing mould bottom or directly into the interior of the pressing mould.
