Feed device for constant-pressure injection systems of combustion engines

The feed device according to the invention is intended for injection quantities with constantly pressurised but separately controlled injection valves, especially for motor vehicle engines. It comprises a high-pressure pump and feed pump driven by the engine, the feed pump feeding the intake side of the high-pressure pump. The object is to design the feed device so that before starting of the combustion engine the injection system is ready to operate. This is achieved according to the invention in that the feed pump is on the one hand coupled to an output shaft of the combustion engine by way of a one-way clutch and on the other hand connected by way of a further one-way clutch to an auxiliary engine, the pressure side of the feed pump being connectable by means of a reversing valve to the high-pressure circuit or, after the reference admission pressure has been attained, to the intake side of the high-pressure pump.
