PURPOSE:To ensure the high-performance recording characteristics with a miniature structure and a low level of power consumption, by arraying successively a DC eraing head, an AC erasing head and a recording along the traveling direction of a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A DC erasing head, an AC erasing head and a recording head are arrayed successively along the traveling direction A of a magnetic tape 1. Thus an effect of erasion, i.e., the fundamental performance is secured with the DC erasion. Furthermore various kinds of performance can be improved with the AC erasing head. As a result, the high-performance recording characteristics can be obtained with a miniature structure and a low level of power consumption. |
