PURPOSE:To form a compact faucet excellent in thermal responsibility by using a shape storing alloy for a temperature sensitive part. CONSTITUTION:The temperature sensitive part 26, formed into a coil shape, of a shape storing alloy is elastically mounted between a guide cylinder 24 provided inside a cover 6 screwed into the rear end opening of an instrumemt frame 5 and a projecting stripe 21 formed on the rear end of a control valve body 14. When a handle 31 is turned, an operating shaft 28 is turned, the guide cylinder 24 axially shifts, and a temperature sensitive part 26 and a spindle 19 moves in order for changing their intervals against the control valve body 14, a valve seat 14 for hot water, and a valve seat 13 for water, allowing mixed water temperature to be set. Hot water and water are mixed in a housing 1 after passing through a hot water-passage hole 9 and water-passage hole 10 and supplied to a shower, etc., while if supplied hot water or supplied water pressure, etc., change at that time to permit mixed water temperature to become higher or lower than the set temperature, the temperature sensitive part 26 is operated to automatically adjusting valve opening and keep said mixed water temperature at the set temperature. |
