发明名称 STANDARD PIECE FOR SHOCK TEST
摘要 PURPOSE:To restrain variations in absorption energy and to reduce variations in test values by using metals which are made of pure metals or alloys stable in the point of structure, and which has a crystal structure of face-centered cubic lattice or dense hexagonal lattice. CONSTITUTION:Standard pieces made of pure titanium, pure copper and pure zinc were manufactured, and absorption energy of each of these standard pieces was measured by the Charpy test. More specifically, the test conducted in a temperature range of 20--193 deg.C resulted in that, in a range of 20--100 deg.C, the standard pieces showed just small difference in absorption energy and were stable, namely, that changes in absorption energy due to the temperature difference was small. Therefore, the use of these metals does not lead to changes in absorption energy due to the temperature difference during test, so that variations in test values can be reduced.
