The valve includes a housing(1), a flap(2), a seat(3) and a shaft(4) to turn the valve. Flow directing members(5) with openings in them lie parallel with the center plane of the valve flap. The valve seat on the downstream side is extended with a curved internal surface appropriate to the rotation of the flap.
