PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of toner filming, crystalization of amorphous photoreceptor and quick deterioration of a cleaning member by cooling the cleaing member. CONSTITUTION:The cooling means of the cleaning member to attract toner removed by a fur brush 2 toward an arrow A consists of a combination cooling board 4 with a flicker board to flick the toner adhered to the brush 2, the temperature controlling element 5 and a radiator plate 6. When the temperature of the brush 2 which is rasied by friction with the surface of the photoreceptor is detected by a temperature sensor and current is made flow into the temperature controlling element 5 by the detected signal, the element 5 removes heat from the brush 2 through the cooling board 4. Consequently, the temperature rise of the cleaning brush 2 is prevented, so that toner filming and the crystalization of the surface of the amorphous photoreceptor are prevented and the cleaning member can be prevented from faster deterioration. |
