PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof scaffold capable of easily being fixed to roofs tilted in various angles and disposing the treads of the scaffold strictly in horizontal direction. SOLUTION: A roof scaffold 11 comprises treads 12 of the scaffold, a pair of right and left horizontal materials 14 supporting the treads 12, a front leg 15, a rear leg 16, and a connecting leg 17 supporting the horizontal material 14, and an installation member 18 joining the front leg 15 to the rear leg 16. A wedge 19 is installed at the lower end part of the front leg 15, and an affixing part 20 is provided at the lower end part of the rear leg 16. The connecting leg 17 comprises a lower support pipe 30 in which a male screw is threaded in the outer peripheral surface, an upper support pipe 28 externally fitted slidably onto the lower support pipe 30, and a support tube 34 screwed vertically movably on the outer peripheral surface of the lower support pipe 30. Then, a bolt 32 is inserted into an elongated hole 31 in the lower support pipe 30 and a circular hole in the upper support pipe 28.
