PURPOSE:To prevent the damage between a peeling pawl and a heating roll in the setting stage by providing a freely turnable handle to be lifted and gripped and a pawl escapement mechanism which regulates the peeling pawl to a detached state cooperatively with the lifted and gripped state of said handel to an upper cover unit. CONSTITUTION:Even if an upper cover unit 12 side is held set in a prescribed position in the setting operation for closing said unit, a handle 19 is lifted and gripped and the shaft 18 of a pawl escapement level 15 regulates a peeling pawl 8 against a spring 16; therefore, the forward end 8a thereof is still held detached from a heating roll 1 without contact therewith. When the handle 19 is depressed successively, a lock lever 23 is moved by a curved piece 24 toward a locking state and the lever 15 is depressed counterclockwise with a lower slope part 23c and a round part 15a, by which the regulation to a regulating piece 8b by the shaft 18 is released. The pawl 8 is then pulled and turned by the spring 16 until the end 8a thereof contacts with the roll 1, and the setting operation is completed. |
