PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of battery characteritics caused by heat when a battery is used as being built in equipment by previously spot-welding a metal piece that is bent and is used as a tab terminal after the battery is assembled at least on either a sealing plate that doubles as an electrode terminal or a battery case that doubles as an electrode terminal of the opposite polarity. CONSTITUTION:A sealing plate 2 is formed by previously spot-welding a terminal block 7 made of a metal thin piece on the external surface and climping a lithium thin plate that is a negative electrode active material on the internal surface. A battery case 3 that doubles as a positive electrode terminal is made of high chrome stainless steel and a positive electrode active material 4 is housed at the center of the inner part of the case. A sealed battery is comprised by separating the positive and negative electrodes from each other with a separator 5 bending the aperture section 8 of the case 3 inside, and pressurizing and tightening the peripheral section of a sealing plate 1. A negative electrode tab terminal 10 is formed by bending the notch 9 of the terminal block 7 by 180 deg. and a positive electrode tab terminal 11 is spot-welded at a position opposed to the terminal 10 after the battery is comprised. As a result, the deterioration of battery characteristics caused by the local heating when the battery is used as being built in equipment can be prevented. |
