A mechanical remote control assembly comprising a Bowden mechanism (22) whose inner cable connects a hand-lever or other actuator (1') with a vehicle brake unit or other actuatable device (20) is provided with a coupling device (24) by which the conduit (3') of the Bowden mechanism is connected to a linking member (23') extending to another actuatable device (21). The coupling device (24) provides a passageway through which the Bowden conduit (3') extends and the coupling device can be secured to the conduit at different positions by means of a clamping device (26). |
