The invention relates to an intermediate piece for shuttering systems, which is set up between two shuttering panels and facilitates the shuttering-removal operation. This is effected by separating the intermediate piece into two individual parts having a common, obliquely running contact plane. This results in a wedge-like action during removal, with the result that it is particularly simple to remove the intermediate piece and the neighbouring shuttering panels, even if, for example, in narrow interiors, an additional lateral pressure acts on the shuttering system in the plane of the shuttering surface.
