<p>The radial burner (6) inside the combustion chamber is surrounded by a cylindrical sheet of vertical tubes of water and is mounted on a support plate (14) which fits onto the heat exchanger. The outside edge (13) of the plate has a dia. greater than the annular edge (12) of the exchanger, and it is capped by a circular joint (16). This joint is nipped between the support plate and the exchanger edge to assure the seal of the combustion chamber, it is protected from direct boiler rays, and it is cooled by the water circulating in the heat exchanger.</p> |
